10 Reasons to be at Edutech 2009

  1. The perfect timing
Typically CBSE results are announced in the last week of May. In the first week of June, AIEEE announce their results in the second week. Thus, it's around the end of the second week when the drive to finalise an educational institution picks up momentum. And, that's exactly when Edutech 2009 has been scheduled.

  2. It's not just a bazaar
Edutech strives to be a platform which is more than just a bazaar for buying and selling admissions to prefessional colleges. From the first year itself, a lot of effort has been made to provide guidance to students (and their parents) about typoes of opportunities and educational courses that exist in the market. Plus, many top-shots of the industry are engaged to counsel the students on these aspects.

  3. Focus on professional education
A key highlight of Edutech is its focussed aproach with respect to students who attend it, and exhibitors who partocipate. The main message for both segments is that Edutech is where professional courses are promoted. Thus, for an exhibitor, the quality of audience is much higher than any other education show, which invites all types of exhibitors.

  4. Major publicity
Since Edutech is part of the EFY Group, promotion of this event starts from September of previous year itself. In addition to the advertisements released in EFY Group's publications and websites, extensive advertising and PR initiatives are undertaken.

  5. Seminars on 'How to select your career and educational institution?"
Career counselling has been the most popular requirement of attendees visiting Edutech. Thus, this year, dedicated seminars will be organised on this subject, by involving industry top shots and career counselling experts.

  6. Seminars on 'Foreign Education'
A dedicated 2 - 3 hour session consisting of a series of talks on foreign education will be held at Edutech 2009. This talk will aim to inform students about opportunities related to foreign education.

  7. Seminars on careers in 'Animation & Graphics'
Animation & graphics is a fast growing industry in India. Students are curious about opportunities available in this sector and the institutes that can help them prepare for a job on the same. These seminars will aim to inform students about the topics.

  8. Seminars on careers in 'Aeronautics & Marine'
Another hot sector where a lot of opportunities are coming up. Here too, there will be a series of talks that will provide students and their parents with all the information they need.

  9. Seminars on 'Bank Loans for education'
Quality education is no longer restricted to the top 5000 of India, thanks to private education. However, it comes at a high cost. Thankfully, many banks are there offering loans to students to pursue their dreams. These seminars will inform students and parents about education loans.

  10. Seminars on 'Soft Skills and non-technical skills'
Only 20% of our engineers are ready to work in the industry after passing out. Lack of soft skills is a major stumbling block. So be it mastering English or developing personality, all such issues will be highlighted during these seminars.
