The Vision To facilitate students and parents in understanding career options available, and selecting an educational institution that can help them pursue the chosen career Why Edutech? Often repeated queries to the Electronics For You team were, "Which educational institution should I go for?" or "How do I decide which career is good for me (or my child)?" Thus, the electronics For You team decided to launch an event (in 2006), which would help its attendees get informed about various career options available, and make it easy for them to select educational institutions that could help them pursue their dreams. Electronics For You being a technical magazine, it was decided that Edutech would be an event which would focus only on technical (aka professional) courses - something that's being followed till today. The Edutech is more than just an expo. The expo is only a part of the solution that it offers to both the exhibitors and visitors. The additional elements that Edutech offers includes : Counselling sessions by HR heads from leading firms. Career guidance sessions by experts (for students and parents) at the event itself. Seminars on burning issues like Management, education loans, foreign education etc. Forums for interaction between academia and industry. Edutech 2009: When and Where? Held annually, the 2009 edition is scheduled to be held on 13th & 14th of June, 2009, at Pragati Maidan's Hall #10. The timing of edutech 2009 has been planned such that the event happens right after the major results of 12th boards (CBSE/ICSE/State Boards), AIEEE, IP University and other major engineering examinations are announced.
